This is an explosive and ever changing subject. No two lessons are ever the same. We can guarantee that you will gain much useful information and many transferable skills from your Geography courses. After all, Geography is all around you and it will continue to affect you through the rest of your life!

  • Information about trips and visits in Geography

  • Year 7: Students learn and practise a wide range of skills. They find out about the UK and especially their home region, comparing it with other parts of the world. The year ends with visits to local villages, farms and industries.

    Year 8:Amazonia to Zimbabwe - ecosystems and man's impact on them.

    Year 9: A decision-making exercise, based on local urban redevelopment, and involving fieldwork and group work, starts the year. Later, contrasts between developing and developed countries are explored.
